Mazzy was my first Samoyed upon moving to Minnesota. His registered name is
Donnereign Diamond Deuce, son of CH Donnereign Prairie
Islander ("Naoisha")
and Donnereign White Diamonds ("Whitney"). Both of Mazzy's parents
are working sleddogs, owned by Bob
and Helen Newman in North Dakota; Mazzy loves to run himself and seems to best like running at wheel
on my sled team.
Mazzy loves to play fetch and likes to sleep with his nose pressed to the bottom of the door where the cold air
seeps in. He used to be best
friends with Jasper, but now spends most
of his time taunting Cirrus and his daughter Calla into a
wrestling match.
As of May 2004, Mazzy is a champion in the conformation ring! Since then, he has gone on to win multiple Best Of Breeds and a Best In Specialty Show
at the 2005 Samoyed Association of Minneapolis-St. Paul Specialty Show.
